Travel Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Tromso

Arrival: Upon arrival at Tromsø Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in the city center.

Check-in: Settle into the comfortable Thon Hotel (or similar).

Free Time: Spend the rest of the day exploring the “Paris of the North.” You can visit the harbor, see the Arctic Cathedral, or enjoy dinner at one of the city’s many excellent restaurants.

Day 2: Reindeer & Sami Culture

Morning: Enjoy a relaxing breakfast and a free morning to explore the city at your own pace.

Reindeer Sledding (13:00 – 17:00): In the afternoon, you will head out to the wilderness to meet the indigenous Sami people. You will get to feed the reindeer herd and enjoy a peaceful, long reindeer sled ride through the snow. Afterward, gather inside a traditional tent (lavvu) to listen to stories about Sami culture and folk songs.

Day 3: Northern Lights Hunting

Free Day: Use the day to visit local museums like Polaria or take the Fjellheisen cable car for a panoramic view of the fjords.

Aurora Hunt (Starts 18:00): In the evening, board a bus for a guided Northern Lights Chase. Your expert guides will drive you away from the city lights to find the clearest skies, sometimes traveling all the way to the Finnish border to give you the best chance of spotting the dancing Aurora Borealis. The tour lasts 6-7 hours.

Day 4: Dog sledding adventure

Full-Day Adventure (Starts 09:30): After breakfast, get ready for a thrilling day in the nature. You will be picked up for a Dog Sledding Adventure.

The Experience: Travel into the wild landscape where eager huskies are waiting. You will learn how to handle the sled and enjoy an unforgettable ride through the white wilderness.

Duration: This is a full experience (approx. 7 hours), including transfers, time with the dogs, and a warm meal/hot drinks. You will return to the city in the late afternoon.

Day 5: Snowmobile Experience

Camp Tamok (Starts 12:30): Today you will head to the wilderness center of Camp Tamok for an exciting Snowmobile Safari.

The Ride: After a scenic transfer and safety briefing, you will drive a snowmobile through the frozen landscapes, surrounded by mountains and snow-covered forests. It is an exhilarating way to explore the Arctic nature.

Duration: The tour lasts approximately 7 hours (including transfers) and takes you deep into the wilderness. You will return to Tromsø in the evening.

Day 6: Departure

Departure: Enjoy your final breakfast in Tromsø. A transfer will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the airport in time for your flight home.
